A Parade You Never Want To Miss.

Chingay Parade 2009 is here once again. With a brand new theme 'Wonderland', Chingay '09 is undoubtedly going to be much more than any other parade show you have ever seen.

What's more important than joining in the fun with the nation and your families?

Get yourself immerse in the swirl of music, dance and the myriad colours of Singapore's unique cultural traditions in the grand opening of the festival put on by overseas performers and citizens of Singapore! It's definitely a good chance for you and me to support our dearest friends and families. Never be surprise if you see elderly performing! Their hearts are still as young as we teenagers!

Now, some tips for those attending the parade! Please do remember to bring your cameras along with you. You never want to miss those breath-taking scenes like how I did. I've learnt my lesson from last year's event. So I'm telling you now so that you can witness the dynamic performances by numerous organisations march past!

Amaze yourself with the colors of singapore, lightings and blow your feet off with acroatic acts, costumes and magic shows with an added artistic twist!

Let your hair down and senses go wild with the tricks and stunts. I can assure you that the majestic performance will definitely lead you through the whole parade. So, get hyper and sing along to the music~

It's really a pity if you miss the wonders from around the world in thrilling displays by international groups! So, how can you miss this annual event?

Singapore, also a land of enchanting tales of legendary myths. Look at dancers dressed as insects for a candy treat. Who knows if your child gets a candy? I'll promise not to snatch these candy from your child as I am already getting on age! Just a joke! My heart, soul and mind is still lively, bubbly and young!

Chingay'08 had a number of memorable highlights! There was F1 car shows and a lot more flashy displays. What's most impressive is the fireworks after the grand finale. It's was gorgeous and I had enjoyed it for a whole of 5 minutes! So, sit back, relax and look at how gliterring chingay signature floats shining in the moodlight.

Come on down and partake in our annual national festive event co-created, owned and warmly celebrated by all Singaporeans and as many friends of Singapore as possible!

I was there supporting my friends performing last year and I'm going to be there for sure this year! Do remember to look out for me! (:

So, have you bought get your tickets? If no, what are you waiting for? Join me & the nation @ Chingay '09 Wonderland!

Some personal experiences:
"I can never bear to leave town area without a glimpse of at least 1/2 of the Chingay parade, I just love the creativity, sound and most of all, ENERGY! It is just incredible. I can safely say that so far, this event is one of the most entertaining event which appeals to all ages! I still remember how much fun we had together when I went with my mates. The laughter and joy and simply the company." - Lynn

"Some performance are put up by my peers and friends! It's definitely awesome to see them in flashy costumes! What a refreshing change from the bustle environment we always have! I'd never forget the photos I took with a fairy!" - Eleanor
